Unique Features

At first glance, the Charlotte may look very traditional. However, this simplistic chair, according to Nancy, can take on many different looks, depending on its upholstery cover.

The sophisticated Charlotte features rolled and flared arms with elegantly tapered wood legs that complement the solid foam back. All of these features give Charlotte a clean and structured appearance while providing optimal support for your back.

Nancy also says that because this recliner is considered a Secret Recliner, your guests will experience the element of surprise when they sit down and recline. “All you need to do is push back on the arms of the chair and you can enjoy two different reclining positions,” Nancy says.

Size & Dimensions

Generally speaking, the size of the Charlotte fits comfortably in smaller spaces, including apartments. Nancy explains that “the Charlotte is not too bulky and its flared arms are not too large like some other formal frames at La-Z-Boy.”

Further, Nancy says that the Charlotte has a taller back than other high-leg recliners at La-Z-Boy. However, Charlotte’s shallow seat fits those with an average scale of 5’4”- 5’9” perfectly.

La-Z-Boy is all about customization, including customizing the legs of your high-leg chair. The Charlotte legs can come in one of three finish options:

2. Coffee (Additional Cost)
3. Graphite (Additional Cost)

Cost

In terms of cost, Nancy explains that the cost of the Charlotte is considered to be in the low-price range for a recliner at La-Z-Boy. In fact, the Charlotte is considered one of our more Affordable La-Z-Boy Chairs.

With that being said, La-Z-Boy furniture is made with high-quality materials and skilled craftsmanship, which is reflected in a higher cost compared to some other furniture retailers on the market.

Currently, Charlotte’s base price is $1,079. This does not include any additional options and upgrades.

Warranty

The Charlotte is covered by La-Z-Boy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of the frame, spring systems, and mechanism, given that they are quality-crafted and built for long-lasting comfort.

While still quality-crafted, other aspects of the product, such as fabrics, leather, and cushion, are not meant to last a lifetime. However, these parts are still covered by the La-Z-Boy Manufacturer’s Warranty for a given period of time.
