About the Rheeves High-Leg Recliner

The Rheeves High-Leg Recliner is a unique chair with many different features included in its design.

With Rheeves, the classical assortment has never felt so wonderfully refreshed. No one would ever suspect that this handsome chair is also a recliner. The Rheeves is considered a Secret Recliner because of its hidden reclining abilities. Like other high-leg recliners at La-Z-Boy, they do not feature a handle, latch, or control panel on the outside of the chair. 

According to Sandra, high-leg recliners also go by another name. These types of recliners are also called push-back recliners, because you need to push back on the arms of the chair to recline, instead of the traditional way of using a lever or a latch on the outside of the seat.

The Rheeves recliner also has a very transitional style, meaning even though it has classic features to its design, it can still easily blend in with a modern or contemporary-looking house. The Rheeves also has decorative wood legs and welt trim.

Sandra also says that the depth of the seat is not too deep, meaning that no one will feel like they are sinking into this recliner. “The seats are firmer than others,” she says.

Looking at the size of the frame, Sandra informs us that the Rheeves has a taller back, meaning this high-leg recliner is most comfortable for those between the heights of 5’10” - 6’2”.

Although taller individuals are ideal for this recliner, Sandra also says that “anyone with an average height will find that the Rheeves has great head support”. So, even if you are not a taller individual, you will still find comfort and support with this recliner.
