While one of the more versatile and unique furniture pieces among the La-Z-Boy family, it stands above the rest as one of the best-selling recliners.

This furniture family comes in a rocking reclining loveseat, which is only unique to three furniture families at La-Z-Boy, including the Pinnacle.

Pinnacle Recliner

If you’re looking for an individual reclining experience, the Pinnacle Recliner is a great choice. Using the convenient handle located on the outside arm, users can recline with ease. Left-handed users can request for their handle to be on the left side.

The Pinnacle Recliner is available as:

• a Rocking Recliner; 
• a Wall Recliner;
• and a Gliding Recliner  

When not in a reclining position, the rocking and gliding recliner can rock and glide in a smooth and graceful movement that will keep you feeling relaxed. The Pinnacle Wall Recliner can be placed mere inches away from a wall while still being able to recline fully.

Pinnacle Reclining Loveseat

The Pinnacle Reclining Loveseat offers the same individualized comfort as the Pinnacle recliner but with another cushion. Enjoy this loveseat with either a friend, family member or with that special someone. 

This loveseat is unique as it can be either a rocking or wall recliner. The regular wall reclining loveseat can be placed mere inches away from a wall like the Pinnacle Wall Recliner. The rocker recliner can rock in a smooth and graceful motion individually. 

The Pinnacle Rocking Loveseat can be made by combining the Left-Arm and Right-Arm Sitting Rocking Recliners. The only other furniture families that offer a rocking arrangement like this are the Rowan and Finley, which you can learn more about with their review articles.

Pinnacle Reclining Sofa

Lastly, the Pinnacle Reclining Sofa offers a third seat cushion so that you can recline and relax with company. 

This sofa is also a wall recliner, meaning it can be placed mere inches away from a wall while still being able to recline. It is important to note that the middle seat does not recline.

The Pinnacle combines a relaxed style with padded rolled arms and channelled back padding for added comfort. This chair is designed to support the body and create a continuous zone of comfort, making it ideal for individuals who may experience back pain.

In addition, the rolled arms on the Pinnacle have a modern design that sets them apart from traditional rolled arms, which are often bulkier. These arms' subtle, understated design ensures that they complement any room without dominating it.

Size & Dimensions

The size and dimensions can tell you a lot about a furniture piece. Before purchasing new furniture, it is always important to Measure Your Room properly.

Depending on the furniture product, the Pinnacle does not need too much space if it is considered a wall recliner. In fact, since most of these furniture pieces are considered wall reclining, this can apply to most of Pinnacle’s furniture. To recline fully, a wall recliner needs at least 4”- 6” of space.

However, this does not mean that these recliners are perfect for small spaces. Because the Pinnacle is 33” wide, it is bulky like other recliners but not too bulky that it’ll overcrowd the space.

Further, the Pinnacle does not sit at a tall or short scale. Because of this, most users can sit comfortably, especially those between the heights of 5’4” to 5’9”.

While your height can be a considerable factor, it is important to note that height guidelines are NOT set in stone. The way you sit in a furniture item can drastically affect how someone might find a seat comfortable.

When compared to other La-Z-Boy furniture families, Pinnacle has plenty of customization options to choose from. Remember that with your selection of options and upgrades, the cost of the Pinnacle furniture will increase.  

Fabric & Leather Options

La-Z-Boy has over 800 fabrics and leathers to choose from, making the experience of personalizing your furniture seemingly endless.

When it comes to choosing select fabrics, the Pinnacle comes in 2 different fabric textures, with a total of 10 select fabric covers. These fabric covers do not increase the price of the Pinnacle furniture.

Regarding leather options, there are 2 select covers, which include a dune and cedar colour. 

Along with the leather selection, a leather match and recycled leather for Alternative Leather Options are also available. All leather options, including the select leather, will always increase the overall cost.

Ultimately, the choice of choosing fabric or leather is up to you if you’re willing to spend extra cash on leather products.

Handle Options

To add more style to your La-Z-Boy manual recliner, you have the option to customize the length and material of the convenient reclining handle.

At an extra cost, you can opt to elongate the handle if you find it too short for your comfort. Additionally, you can choose from a variety of materials for the handle, including wooden, brushed nickel, or matte black. The chrome handle can also be elongated, matching the wooden one in size.

What’s more, for all left-handed users, you can change your handle from the standard right side to the left. This also comes at an additional cost.

Optional Swivel Base

If you're interested, the Pinnacle rocking recliner is available with a swivel base for an extra cost. La-Z-Boy's swivel bases provide a 360-degree rotation, allowing you to easily turn and face any direction.

You can also upgrade your swivel base into a power swivel recliner, which can recline at the touch of a button. The power swivel base, however, only rotates 165 degrees to prevent the power cord from getting tangled within the furniture frame.

Power Lift Recliner Upgrade

One upgrade that sets the Pinnacle apart from other furniture families is the ability to upgrade to a power lift recliner.

The Pinnacle Platinum Power Lift Recliner features a handy remote that can help raise the recliner up or down from off the ground. The remote can be used to raise or lower the recliner, as well as adjust it to different reclining positions, making it easier for you to get in and out of the chair.

The seat and back move together in one smooth motion, eliminating gaps and providing full body support in all reclined positions. The power lift recliner also features a power tilt and independent back and leg rest motion.

Heat & Massage Upgrade (Lift Recliner Only)

The Pinnacle Power Lift Recliner can be upgraded to include Heat & Massage.

Customers can enjoy this incredibly comfortable lift recliner with two high & low heat settings and six motor-massage settings for their back and thighs. 

PowerReclineXR® is also included in this upgrade, which lets the user experience full reclining comfort in any position, thanks to an independently operating back and leg rest.

Console Upgrade (Loveseat Only)

The Pinnacle Rocking and Wall Loveseats both have the option to include a console in the middle of the seat. This handy center console adds extra storage. 

Cup holders are also included, meaning you can sit back and relax without getting up to grab a drink. Further, the console offers an interior electronic charging input instead of the ports outside the loveseat.

The Pinnacle is covered by La-Z-Boy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of the frame, spring systems, and mechanism, given that they are quality-crafted and built for long-lasting comfort.
