About the Cleo Furniture Family

The Cleo includes clean and structured corners, welt trim and decorative wood legs to bring a streamlined look. The corners of the back and the seat are offset by the gentle slope of the smoothly curved track arms, which Mary Lee says is reminiscent of the popular Reegan Swivel Chair.

“The difference between Reegan’s sloped arms and Cleo’s is that Reegan’s arms are at a flatter angle; Cleo’s arms are more curved,” she says.

Mary Lee also says that the Cleo has more of a transitional approach to its look. “the Cleo might be a newer product, but it takes inspiration from older furniture – mostly 1920s design.”

This is especially true when looking at the Cleo 2-arm Chaise.

In terms of sizing, Mary Lee mentions that the Cleo Sofa might not be the best choice if you're looking for furniture to fit in a small space. “Since the Cleo Sofa is 92” wide, it’s gonna take up a lot of room,” she explains.

Mary Lee also says that the Cleo furniture has a slightly above-average seat height, making it comfortable for those with a height of 5’10” - 6’2”.

Cushion Upgrade

At an additional cost, Cleo cushions can also be upgraded to include firmer cushioning, meaning over time, your furniture will remember your unique figure and enhance the comfort of your furniture. This could be a great option for people with mobility issues, allowing you to get in and out of your furniture more comfortably. 

Pillow Options

The Cleo Chair & a Half and Sofa come with pillows, which means you can customize those as well. You can accessorize your pillows by adding an accent colour to them, as well as contrasting welt, cording or fringe. What's more, there are also 6 select accent pillow options to choose from, which will not increase the price of your furniture.

If you want to get specific, you can also request feather padding for your pillows instead of the usual foam padding.

Optional Nailhead Trims

If you want to add extra accents to your furniture frame, nailhead trims are an excellent option. However, they come at an additional cost. Customers can choose from a variety of colours, including Black Hammered Nickel, Brass and Platinum.

Wood Leg Finish Options

Finally, Cleo’s wood leg finish can also be customized. Any Cleo furniture item comes in one of four finish options:

Is the Cleo Furniture Family Right For You?

In terms of functionality, Mary Lee says that this furniture family can comfortably seat those with an average or taller height. If you’re around Mary Lee’s height, which was mentioned to be 5’2”, you might not find the Cleo very comfortable.
