Paxton Chair & a Half

The Paxton Chair & a Half offers casual and relaxed seating that invites you to kick back and get cozy. This chair & a half allows you to enjoy individualized seating, but also offers enough room to share the seat with a small child or baby.

The Paxton Loveseat is a little wider than the Paxton Chair & a Half. The extra seat allows you to sit with that special someone. 

Paxton Sofa

The Paxton Sofa has a unique design to its cushions. Instead of having three individual cushions, like other La-Z-Boy sofas, The Paxton only has two wide cushions that meet in the middle of the frame.

As mentioned before, the Paxton has wide arms and deep seats, meaning the Paxton is wider than other La-Z-Boy furniture items. This is the reason why the Paxton furniture family features a chair & a half instead of a regular-sized chair.

Size & Dimensions

As mentioned before, The Paxton furniture family features wide cushions, giving it a larger frame in general. Because of this, the Paxton Sofa and Sectional may not be easy to place in every room. 

Further, with this larger scale, the Paxton furniture comfortably seats those between the heights of 6’3” and up. This is because of its deeper seats that make the user sink into the furniture frame.

Fabric Options

La-Z-Boy has over 800 fabrics and leathers to choose from, making the experience of personalizing your furniture seemingly endless. It is important to note that the Paxton only comes in fabric and not leather.

Marianne reveals that the Paxton comes in 6 different select fabric options. Select fabrics are chosen to compliment Paxton’s specific furniture frame. In turn, these fabric options do not increase the base price of your Paxton. 

Should you choose to purchase any fabric that is not included as a select cover, you will be subjected to an additional fee.

Sectional Furniture Options & Configurations

Paxton’s sectional consists of 8 furniture pieces that can be used to design a unique configuration that suits your comfort preferences and space. With these available module pieces, your Paxton sectional can be made as big or as small as you wish.

The end piece includes a left or right-ended chair, chaise, or cuddlers. You can also place either a 90-degree corner section to create the famous L-shape that sectionals are known for. Armless stationary chairs are also available to add to your sectional. 

There are 5 different basic sectional configurations below to show what your sectional can look like. You can also choose to go with your own unique design if you don’t prefer any of these choices.

Marianne notes that, should you want to add a cuddler to your sectional, this type of configuration would be perfect for bigger rooms, since that modular seat is the biggest option.

Pillow Options

The Paxton Sofa, Loveseat and Chair & a Half come with pillows, which means you can customize those as well. You can accessorize your pillows by adding an accent colour to them, as well as contrasting welt, cording or fringe.

If you want to get specific, you can also request feather padding for your pillows instead of the usual foam padding.

Contrasting Welt Trim

Customers have the option to choose a contrasting welt trim to accentuate the design of the furniture. Furthermore, patterned welt trim options are available, which can enhance the aesthetics of the furniture frame.

Finish Options

Finally, Paxton’s wood leg finish can be customized as well. Any Paxton furniture item comes in one of four finish options:

Cost

In terms of cost, Marianne notes that the Paxton furniture products fall within the mid-high price range at La-Z-Boy. This is because of the larger cushions made within the design.

While the cost of the Paxton furniture is considered mostly standard at La-Z-Boy, it is important to note that La-Z-Boy furniture is considered more expensive in the market. This cost is reflected in the quality of materials and craftsmanship of our products.

Warranty

The Paxton furniture family is covered by La-Z-Boy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty covered covers the repair or replacement of the frame, spring systems, and mechanism, given that they are quality-crafted and built for long-lasting comfort.

While still quality-crafted, other aspects of the product, such as fabrics, leather, and cushion, are not meant to last a lifetime. However, these parts are still covered by the La-Z-Boy Manufacturer’s Warranty for a given time.

Is the Paxton Furniture Family Right For You?
