About the Wilmette Furniture Family

The Wilmette furniture family is a simple and contemporary design that elevates the decor of any room. 

It features a semi-attached box-border chambered blown-fiber back with a clean, elegant design. Speaking of the design, this frame also features slender track arms with loose kidney toss pillows.

The Wilmette also includes ComfortCore cushions, which provide just the right amount of optimal comfort for a long or short sit.

In terms of sizing, Tim notes that this furniture frame is the smallest furniture frame that is currently available. “It's even smaller than our popular frame, the Kennedy,” he explains. He also notes that the track arms are small which adds to the small size design. 

This makes the Wilmette perfect for small apartments or condos.

As for who would be well suited for this frame, those between the heights of 5’4” to 5’9” would sit comfortably for a long time.

The Wilmette Chair & a Half and Sofa come with pillows, which means you can customize those as well. What's more, there are also 6 select accent pillow options to choose from, which will not increase the price of your furniture.

If you want to get specific, you can also request feather padding for your pillows instead of the usual foam padding.

Finally, Wilmette’s wood leg finish can also be customized. Any Wilmette furniture item comes in one of three finish options:

Tim also notes that this furniture family is good for all kinds of people, but he sees shorter individuals purchasing it more because of how it sits from the ground. 

Lastly, Tim expresses how much of a contemporary style this furniture family is. “The sofa especially is a great look, which might not bode well with anyone looking to furnish a starter home or a small condo.”

Tim also says that this furniture family goes well with La-Z-Boy’s older audience that “isn’t looking for all the bells and whistles of a recliner. A simple stationary piece is all they need.”
