The Emric furniture family is a style you’ve probably never seen in any furniture store in Ottawa, Gatineau or Kingston. Blake Berry, one of La-Z-Boy Kingston’s design consultants, says that the Emric is making a name for itself, especially as one of the smaller sectionals in our furniture selection.

About the Emric Sectional

The Emric Sectional is a newer contemporary furniture frame from La-Z-Boy that features slim shelter-style track-style arms, a low back and clean lines for a spacious appearance.

It is also very evident that the Emric breaks traditional seating norms with its one single-bottom cushion. “This allows for a cleaner look than other furniture frames and because there’s no separation between the cushions, more than three people can sit comfortably on the sectional frame,” says Blake.

The Emric also features a single king lumbar pillow, which is similar to the single seat cushion and a longer accent pillow that offers more support for not just one person, but two!

According to Blake, the Emric is mid-range in-depth, meaning the seat cushions are deep but not as deep as other furniture frames offered at La-Z-Boy. However, those who might be older may prefer a firmer cushion than this one.

What’s more, the Emric is also great in the fact that it can fit large and small spaces, depending on the frame you choose. However, because of the deeper seats, the dimensions suggest that this furniture family might be more suitable for those with an average to taller height.

While your height can be a considerable factor, it is important to note that height guidelines are NOT set in stone. The way you sit in a furniture item can drastically affect how someone might find a seat comfortable.

At an additional cost, Emric cushions can also be upgraded to include firmer cushioning, meaning over time, your furniture will remember your unique figure and enhance the comfort of your furniture. Pillow Options

The Emric Sofa comes with pillows, which means you can customize those as well. You can accessorize your pillows by adding an accent colour to them, as well as contrasting welt, cording or fringe. What's more, there are also 6 select accent pillow options to choose from, which will not increase the price of your furniture.

If you want to get specific, you can also request feather padding for your pillows instead of the usual foam padding.

Is the Emric Furniture Family Right For You?
